Financial Controller

RattrayParkin are currently supporting the recruitment requirements of a highly successful Leicester based manufacturing business which is seeking to recruit a high–calibre Financial Controller. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Financial Controller will be responsible for financial controlling of the Leicester Operating facility with key responsibilities including:

• Leading the finance team and the monthly and quarterly close process
• Own, develop and manage the audit relationship with external auditors.
• Provide strong financial reporting integrity and analytical review of financial results & ensuring compliance on new and existing accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs for Senior Executive team.
• Yearly Budget & Strat Plan preparation and review for Leicester site.
• Oversee payroll, ensuring correct accounting practices followed & tax reporting plus assisting with payroll year end procedure.
• Provide business partnering with Operations, Sales Managers and wider Exec team in order to deliver strategic and operational objectives.
• Analytical review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Monitoring financial controls and KPIs, whilst ensuring robust cost control.
• Manage annual insurance policies.
• Manage Inter Company relationships – ensuring FX effect of inter company transactions is reported correctly.

To be considered for this position you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with previous experience of operating in a managerial level finance position within the manufacturing sector.
