GBR Recruitment are honoured to working exclusively with a leading Business Data Solutions business, recruiting for a highly experienced Data Driven Solutions Business Development Manager with Financial Services Solutions background, solution selling into Major Financial, Banking, Insurance, FinTechcompanies plus others in the FS sector, UK wide & Globally (Major Nationals & Major Conglomerate Enterprises).

In this Key Financial Sector BDM role you will be well versed in pitching solutions & securing business agreements with Enterprise Organisations (Major Household Names), working hand in hand with these leading companies to deliver their bespoke highly complex data solutions to enable them to solve complex technical and business change initiatives in a practical, data educated and hands–on way, with the client covering different geographies including Ireland, Europe, and the Far East.

Our client's data solutions are delivered through a combination of software and business delivery capabilities to provide their clients with bespoke solutions to address their specific business needs.

Financial sector data solutions include: Credit Risks, Revenue Assurance, Values Based Management, Data Management (DMSA), Customer Value Management & Data Quality Solutions (CI / Change Management driven by the Data insights, to deliver cost savings, increased outputs, increased revenue & much more Added Value).

BDM Duties / Activities:

  • Identifying new financial sector (FS) client opportunities to develop a sales pipeline / wish lists
  • Working closely with financial sector clients in understanding their bespoke data & technical requirements, defining tangible effective solutions and creating compelling propositions for them
  • Showing strong commercial ability – Negotiating data contracts and commercial agreements
  • Working with internal teams (data insights / data solutions team / solutions development team) to ensure they develop data strategies which maximise future business opportunities
  • Attending financial sector / data / tech networking events and financial / data / tech industry specific events & exhibitions to drive further leads / business opportunities
  • You will spend 1 day in the Central London HQ & 4 days working remotely / at clients sites (approx / flex.)

Attributes of the BDM:

  • Highly experienced BDM, BDE, NAM or similar from the World of Financial Services / Financial Solutions
  • Enterprise Sales Delivery Experience (securing contracts with high value businesses – conglomerates)
  • Data Solutions Selling Experience (Services as noted above i.e. Credit Risks etc.)
  • Used to Building Strong Strategic Business Partnerships (Data Insights / Change / CI Consultant)
  • Professional Communicator at all levels (MD / C–Level Exec's, telephone, video call, email & F2F)
  • Solutions Seller (not product sales)
