Occupational Health Business Partner

• Lead and manage the effective and consistent implementation of all relevant Occupational Health (OH) standards to support the overall wellbeing agenda
• Compile and record occupational health statistical data to deliver statutory reporting requirements, using the information to inform contract performance as a minimum
• Assist with the onboarding and implementation of our new software system – Orchid Live.
• Respond to sickness absence referrals and provide guidance to the business with regards to rehabilitation programmes, work adaptation or redeployment so that appropriate action can be taken
• Ensure the safekeeping of all confidential medical records in accordance with the business and NMC guidelines to ensure auditable information is in place
• Provide advice on individual health issues and promote health education within the workplace to maximise colleague understanding
• Drives performance of OH contracts throughout Logistics, ensuring key performance indicators and service level agreements are complied with. Regular reviews with supplier(s) to maintain quality and service provision
• Ensure all tendering and retendering processes are complete within set timescales to ensure a seamless transition between contractors if applicabl

At Boston we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar and BOL.

At Spalding, we have a team of around 540 colleagues. We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co–op, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, KFC, Nando's, Pizza Hut and Costco. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.

At Wisbech, we have a team of 450 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Asda and Co–op.

• Must be a registered nurse with a Occupational Health qualification.
• A candidate with a robust background in Occupational Health, preferably from a food manufacturing industry, but from manufacturing in general as a minimum.
• Ability to travel to any one of their sites at least once per week.
