Director of People and Operations

A newly created role has arisen in the third sector for a Director of People and Operations. Reporting into the CEO and sitting on the executive leadership team you will be responsible for setting the people strategy to align with the overall business strategy. You will be implementing significant positive change so need be to comfortable operating at this level. Key projects include:

• Lead, champion and drive the workforce strategy
• Design and delivery of organisational development strategies
• Develop their assets based leadership programme
• Lead on recruitment, induction and development of people
• Improve employee and volunteer engagement
• Implement and embed a well being strategy
• Review of salary comps and bens
• Manage and develop the HR Manager who looks after all day to day HR queries with their team
• Oversee subject experts in IT, Facilities and Health & Safety
