They are looking to recruit a "world class" President, who will lead this "hyper–growth" dynamic business in the UK and internationally. The business is experiencing a phase of rapid growth and transformation and the successful candidate will significantly influence, develop and implement our client's strategic plan.Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, your role will be broad and includes: creating, communicating, and implementing the vision, mission, and overall strategic direction; setting, reviewing and achieving comprehensive goals for performance and growth; nurturing and maintaining proactive in–depth relationships with all members of the Global Executive Team, the Group Board and the wider key internal and external stakeholders; overseeing daily operations of the company. Responsibilities include: Leading day–to–day operations ensuring all departments interrelated strategic goals align with the business's executive objectives Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures Overseeing budgeting and finance in line with growth and performance objectives Driving the development of commercial capability across all areas of activity, including customer relationship management, people development, organic growth, bolt–on acquisitions, margin development and working capital management Taking current operational systems and processes and move to "best–in–class" practices Participating in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.) Managing relationships with partners/vendors Developing relationships for potential IPO Candidate requirements: Proven experience at President/CEO/COO/MD/EVP level in high growth businesses with supply chain and logistical complexity Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development Interest in and passion for driving innovation, growth and transformation for the business Domain knowledge of eCommerce, digital marketplaces and platform business concepts A successful track record within dynamic organisations that have achieved significant growth A "completer finisher" who retains oversight from concept to execution Ability to focus on granular detail whilst delivering the strategic objectives Substantial experience developing, presenting and executing winning business strategies Practical experience of M&A and joint venture activity Experience of leading a business through an IPO process Experience advising and briefing senior executives at Fortune 500 scale organisations; scaling and managing teams of dozens (minimum) of professionals Quick and effective decision making under pressure – able to "pivot" Curious, engaging, bright, flexible We are particularly interested in candidates with management consulting and commercial experience Bachelor's degree in Business related degree; Master's degree preferred If this sounds of interest please send your CV in Word format, quoting reference 278043/3/LT/EL detailing your current remuneration package and availability.
