A fabulous, 100% remote working opportunity has arisen for a talented Proposals Manager to join a friendly, modern, progressive and commercially–oriented City law firm on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The role holder will be able to opt for hybrid working in the firm's London office if they prefer.

The firm are seeking a highly–organised and energetic Interim Proposals Manager who is passionate about creating first–class pitches and presentations and keen to make their mark at a leading law firm. Reporting to the permanent Proposals Manager, who will be focusing on a pitch related project during the tenure of this FTC, the Interim Proposals Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of larger, panel style, often procurement led, cross–group pitches. Typical proposals will include re–pitching for existing client work, pitching for additional work from existing clients and pitching for new work from new prospects. The focus of this role will be competitive qualified opportunities, including RFIs, RFPs and panel appointments. Reinforcing the importance of the proposal process as a critical element of the firm's growth strategy, you will take overall project management responsibility of proposals overseeing qualification, bid/no bid, developing project plans, sourcing boilerplate content, writing and editing documents and ensuring that all necessary activities are completed on time. Reaffirming best practice, the role holder will need to help partners define and execute the proposal strategy, coach orals and prepare presentations and conduct post decision reviews, enabling the firm to learn from both successes and failures and to modify processes where necessary.

Professional, credible, impactful and confident with persuading and influencing, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven proposals experience gained in a law or other professional services firm, to include project managing and advising on major panel tenders and maintaining best practice proposal infrastructure, processes and tools. The role will suit an applicant with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy and a flair for both writing and editing copy. Highly commercial with a real interest in business, the Interim Proposals Manager will be need to provide evidence of outstanding Partner management skills. In addition, Association of Proposal Management Professionals accreditation and previous experience of working with proposal automation software will be highly advantageous.
