We have an exciting and ambitious agenda for 2023 and to support our growth plans, we are looking to appoint an experienced People Business Partner to join our Operations team in the North. You ll be helping to lead, design and deliver on the people plan and strategic objectives across 2 operational sites in Bradford and Halifax as well as supporting our Central Group functions (finance, IT, commercial etc).
You will join us on a?full time, permanent?basis working in a flexible/hybrid way across both locations and from home. In return, you will receive a competitive salary depending upon experience (and the chance to work with a pretty awesome People Team!).
Our People Business Partner will have a strong operational background with solid HR generalist knowledge. The successful candidate will also be able to coach those in their team and the wider business on these complex matters. You ll be working alongside the site leadership team to develop and drive a people strategy that supports high performance, talent development and growth aligned to business and site objectives. Our Operations People Advisor(s) allocated to your areas will report directly to you and will support you in driving these initiatives and help with shaping the business for the future by working to our company values and driving the implementation of mid and long–term strategies related to people.
Key responsibilities of our People Business Partner:

Creating and delivering a people strategy for your stakeholder groups in line with the site and business objectives

Support with creating a high performing culture, managing poor performance and having meaningful conversations

Lead difficult and/or complex people projects across the wider business

Act as a true Business Partner and trusted advisor and provide positive challenge to stakeholders

Manage the People Advisors and on–site People teams, ensuring they achieve their objectives through support feedback, development, and guidance

Lead on driving a positive Colleague Experience – Promoting a positive and inclusive culture and advocating for Colleagues, providing feedback to the wider people team on Colleague Lifecycle

Drive a culture of recognition and engagement on site
Skills & experience of our People Business Partner:
-
Experience working in a similar industry (for example logistics/manufacturing/FMCG) is preferred

CIPD Level 5 or 7
-
Up to date Employment law knowledge
-
Commercial awareness
-
Experience of leading on change projects (restructure/TUPE)

Confident in challenging conversations and giving feedback
-
Able to interpret and present data, provide insights and recommendations
