Asset Transformation Project Manager

Council Property Services division seeking Asset Transformation Project Manager. Up to 550 a day. Hybrid.

Your new company

A large council in the West Midlands are looking for an interim Asset Transformation Project Manager to manage the function and take responsibility for projects and reviews across the property portfolio. The council have one of the largest property portfolios in Europe and work passionately to improve the lives of the people who live and work in our city.

Your new role

You will lead on property related transformation projects including development areas, reviews of service strategy and future operating models. You will lead on the review and challenge of the operational portfolio including corporate landlord and valuation strategies. You will provide expert option on property management and strategy to elected members of the council and Heads of Service and represent the directorate at cabinet, public meetings, tribunals and court proceedings.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have corporate membership of RICS and substantial property related experience including managing projects, work programmes, budgets and resources. You will have substantial experience of people management and of managing large property projects and budgets.
