The role of Head of Demand Generation:

The Head of Demand Generation will devise, implement and lead the marketing strategy, globally, for the demand generation arm of our clients marketing services business unit; providing high–quality lead generation campaigns to colocation, advisory and technology providers across the digital infrastructure sector.

You'll be responsible for delivering complex client campaigns across the full marketing mix; digital media, sponsored content, that generate highly qualified MQLs.

This role will involve line management responsibility for two dedicated senior marketing executives, working closely with the Group Head of Marketing to strategically plan comms and campaigns across the year. The Head of Demand Generation will also work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, in particular the client success team, to ensure partner objectives are understood and exceeded, processes are fit–for–purpose and red–flags are tackled proactively.

The responsibilities of the Head of Demand Generation:

  • Act as a strategic partner to content, client success and sales teams, to develop annual marketing plans and support Go–to–Market initiatives aligned to the business' growth strategy.
  • Produce, execute, measure, and report on global marketing plans and campaigns developed via multi–marketing channels to drive awareness, generate and nurture leads
  • Identify synergies with other product sets and opportunities to collaborate
  • Maintain a consistent understanding of our clients solutions and the competitive landscape to draft persona–based copy
  • Leverage global content from internal teams and recommend new topics to enhance client and prospect engagement

To be considered you must have:

  • Minimum 4 years in a marketing or communications role within a similar industry.
  • A strategic mindset, able to develop creative plans which generate maximum volumes of MQLs
  • Experience writing persona–driven and product messaging that clearly communicates product benefits
  • Experience managing multi–channel marketing across digital, social, and broadcasting channels to drive B2B marketing campaigns
  • Experience on Marketo/Pardot and Salesforce would be beneficial
  • Strong copywriting skills as well as written and verbal communication skills

The package:

  • Salary: 55,000 – 65,000
  • 20% bonus
  • Hybrid working
