The Opportunity:

This role sits with one of the world's largest Commercial Property Consultancies, number 1 in the global market in leasing, property sales, property management, occupier outsourcing and valuations, with revenues in excess of GBP20bn and 500 offices globally.

A move into their M&E Design & Projects team would represent absolute career progression.

Due to growth, they are now looking for an Associate Director – Electrical Building Services Engineering to join their Manchester office. They currently have circa GBP15m worth of MEP works on site, with circa GBP1m worth of design work already in the pipeline, so a really strong order book, and exciting pipeline.

The role will involve working with an existing client base to lead and develop the Design & Projects service offering to internal clients.

It is a great time to join the business as due to growth they are expecting the Manchester team to double in size within the next 1–2 years, and therefore there are great opportunities for growth and progression within the team.

Based in either a central Manchester office or working from home, you'll be part of a team on working projects from concept design through to stage 4 detailed design.

When in the office, you will work from state–of–the–art facility which is a showcase for current thinking in contemporary office design and technology. However, all employees will be expected to work flexibly with part of their week working at home.

Essentially, a completely unique career opportunity, a client–side role that will give you direct access to clients, working on the client's behalf as part of the client team, acting as the client's representative on projects.

You'll be offered responsibility for managing projects with support from the wider M&E team and be given the opportunity to develop both your design skills and your commercial client facing and project management skills – not something that is available within traditional design consultancy, which will accelerate your carer past your peer group.

There is structured training and a clear route for progression, with excellent CPD opportunities within the team.
