A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a-mid level lawyer to join the legal team of a high-growth fibre network infrastructure and internet service provider. This well-funded business has built the first dedicated fibre network offering 10Gbps as a baseline speed, designed specifically for the next generation of London businesses.
About the role
Reporting to the General Counsel you will be responsible for taking on a generalist role, leading on a wide variety of legal, compliance and regulatory matters gaining invaluable legal experience across a breadth of areas. You will advise and guide various business units, including senior management, on a wide variety of issues. You will negotiate various agreements with customers, suppliers, contractors, landowners and local authorities as well as oversee and assist with a range of corporate, regulatory, compliance and company policy related matters.
About you
Ideally, you will be 4-7+ PQE with strong post-qualification experience of working in a reputable law firm or a comparable in-house setting. Experience in general commercial contracts, data protection, employment or disputes/litigation would be highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active approach, have flexibility of mind, be confident in their decision-making and be happy working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a telecoms, TMT or regulatory environment would be desirable but is not essential.
