Senior Group Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently looking for an ambitious, technically strong qualified Accountant who is Practice trained with at least 3 years PQE and either looking for a first step out of practice, or a new challenge having already made the move in to industry role is for a Senior Group Accountant to join our clients Finance Reporting Team.

The successful candidate will report in to the Head of Reporting and you will have a significant level of responsibility and will be expected to lead the development of all technical accounting requests within the Division.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing monthly consolidation, including drafting sections of the Board report
• Half year results consolidation and interim accounts preparation
• Assisting with the statutory financial statements including Plc consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS)
• Consolidating forecasts and annual budget
• Liaising with the tax advisors to ensure completion of tax returns and quarterly instalment payments
• Managing the cash position of the Group through accurate tracking, forecasting and management of bank drawdowns and deposits
• Ad hoc projects / analysis as required
