Chief Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Executive to take forward this established charity providing counselling services in Northamptonshire and counselling training regionally. Reporting to the Trustees, the successful candidate will manage a budget of circa. GBP240,000, 30 staff and volunteers. Operating from Northampton town centre offices you will oversee the quality provision of counselling and training to support communities in Northampton and beyond. You will be a Christian with experience of turning strategy into high performing operational plans, complex project and stakeholder management. You will have an open and servant–hearted leadership style that leads through team building and a drive to see excellence delivered through strong and transparent working relationships. The Board of Trustees are looking for a forward looking individual with relevant skills and a passion for Christian counselling who can provide a strong but empathetic lead for this established charity, as they look to enhance and expand their services. In return, we can offer you a salary of up to GBP45,000 pa, 20 days' annual leave, eight public holidays, contributory pension scheme and reimbursement of official travel expenses at 45p per mile. The appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references, and evidence of right to reside and work in the UK.
