HR Manager/HR Business Partner
Based Grantham (This role is hybrid) – Travel to sites within the group

SF Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a client who have experienced enviable growth over recent years to hire a commercially focused HR professional to head up their HR offering (and to manage a team of 2). This role works incredibly closely with the leadership team as well as managers and directors across the business to build organisation and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities.
This role is truly generalist in its nature and requires a candidate who enjoys the blend of strategic and operational work. This role, and the HR function, is pivotal in providing a flexible and proactive HR service to stakeholders across the business, supporting on driving the key HR initiatives as their organisation delivers ambitious plans for future growth. Day to day you will undertake a number of responsibilities:
– Support stakeholders with 1st class HR advice and guidance, building proactive relationships through partnering with the business
– Provide strategic/leadership to deliver HR plans/vision
– Develop the HR team and business units teams through training, leadership development strategies and coaching
– Ownership/development of the Group wide HR system (IRIS – Cascade) to deliver KPI reporting and process efficiencies across the group
– Projects – Management of change projects including TUPE and restructuring supporting the growth/future acquisition activity
As the HR Manager/HR Business Partner you will lead on day to day HR issues, employee relations, and supporting managers where required with employee requests, succession planning, recruitment strategy, talent pipeline. Our client is keen to attract a HR professional who enjoys a broad role within a smaller business environment where you can truly make a difference.
You will need to be commercially focused with a strong generalist background, ability to work with multiple sites with differing priorities and team management skills. You will have strong partnering or HR management experience and understand the challenges a growing SME faces.
