About The Role As Managing Director you are responsible for providing effective and inspiring leadership and the creation of a learning organisation driving HC One's vision by developing and maintaining high standards of kind care, ensuring our homes strive to be Outstanding in the provision of high–quality care to our residents, whilst complying with all statutory and regulatory standards. You share your learning with your fellow MD's and you identify great practice from across the organisation. You also invest in the development of your teams and ensure you have deep talent pipelines across the organisation. With responsibility for the overall commercial and financial performance of homes within a defined portfolio, you will create the focus to achieve targets and measures underpinned by robust systems, very high standards and performance management rooted in continuous improvement. Ability to recognise and respond to Health & Safety Risks likely to occur in a Health and Social care environment and lead by example. Ability and proven prior experience to prepare and implement actions arising from performance and regulatory reports. Track record of turning around failing or weak services, achieving successful and positive change and results. Experience in managing multi–site locations. Educated to degree level with Masters or equivalent qualification. Demonstrable experience at the highest level, preferably, although not exclusively, within health or social care industry or a multi–faceted management service/company.
