A leading premium automotive business that are leading the transition towards electric autonomous vehicles. WHAT TO EXPECT The role sits within the Vehicle Connected Services (VCS) arm of the New Business Models organisation where you will be responsible for running a complete PMO end to end process in this new and dynamic business area. You will have the opportunity to influence the development of the PMO capability in VCS and help deliver projects which are at the heart of Jaguar Land Rover's Reimagine strategy for connected experiences for our customers. The purpose of this role is to lead the PMO capability within the VCS organisation and to align delivery governance with cross–functional stakeholders. You will play a key role in transforming the ways of working withing VCS to one which embraces Agile practices and culture. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Lead the PMO capability within VCS Continuously improve the current E2E governance processes for project delivery Prepare and present portfolio status reporting to the VCS leadership team Work with the VCS finance partner to obtain regular updates and interrogate reports to extract relevant information of financial performance and forecasts Implement and support lessons learnt reviews, developing and monitoring actions to improve Utilise project management tools to support smooth project delivery Manage the escalation of risks and issues from projects to the correct forum for resolution Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working on programmes across the area and define best practices Collaborate with PMO teams across the business to share best practice and process improvements to ensure efficiency of project management tools Support the interaction between the Strategy Squad and PMO to facilitate priorities for project delivery through the annual and quarterly planning processes WHAT YOU WILL NEED Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Very competent and experienced in using JIRA and Confluence tools from Atlassian Some experience of leading a portfolio management capability Strong experience of planning, monitoring and controlling programmes/projects, including risk management Some transformation and change management experience Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation Credibility and ability to influence others at all levels Good experience of using portfolio management tools Desirable: Experience of working in an Agile project delivery environment Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred Experience of working in an Automotive or comparable industry
