Interim Tax Consultant – 12months – Daily Rate

Search are working with a leading Global Investment Bank in Glasgow to help secure an interim tax consultant over a 12 month period, with potential to extend or go permanent. You will be an integral part of the corporate tax team focusing on the UK and EMEA tax compliance and reporting. You will also be involved with various advisory projects including corporate restructuring, acquisitions, disposals, regulatory changes.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns
Review and management of non–UK corporate tax return submissions
Calculating corporate income tax and deferred tax accounting entries
Reviewing quarterly effective tax rates for US GAAP and IFRS reporting
Requirements:
Accountancy or tax qualification
3–5 years UK Corporation tax experience
Previous experience supervising or reviewing work of junior staff
