We have an impactful and exciting opportunity for a Systems engineer – Team Lead who will have management responsibility for a team of Systems Engineers based in Beckington, Somerset within the Integrated Maritime Systems Business Area What you'll do As a SEA Senior Combat Systems Engineer, you will build and sustain effective and lasting relationships with the Customer/Authority, Stakeholder community and internal teams such as the Maritime/Mission Systems team. Line management and training of fellow system engineers. – Providing technical leadership for the project. – Point of contact for technical matters. – Oversee the audit of Royal Navy vessels and ensure correct and accrete capture of combat system data. What you'll bring – Considerable understanding of Maritime Combat Systems as well as Royal Navy Ships and Submarines – Will need to be able to work individually or within a team environment of multi–disciplined specialists and engineering disciplines to achieve project output requirements, including customer deliverables, in a timely and accurate manner – You will build and sustain effective and lasting relationships with the Customer/Authority, Stakeholder community and internal teams – Established Systems Engineer – Experience in Military Comms Systems – Experience working in or supporting the Defence industry – Full drivers license – Excellent communication skills What we offer you Our people make us the positive force that we are, leaders within a highly competitive sector.
