Get Recruited is recruiting for a leading Professional Conference Organiser who due to continued success and expansion has an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager from an Events, Conferences or Healthcare background.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be building relationships with new and existing clients to secure new contracts, working alongside the wider team to tender for large contracts and ensuring retention of the contract's long–term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Senior Account Manager or similar from a Hotel / Hospitality / Events / Conferences / Events Venue / Healthcare background looking to further their career with an industry–leading business. Based on their growth plans and forecasts, there is potential to progress into a Director level role earning 6 figures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building strong relationships with existing clients to retain existing contracts and secure future contracts
  • Making contact with historic clients to rebuild relationships
  • Networking with and proactively contacting new and potential clients to continuously build your pipeline
  • Regularly arranging and attending client meetings to further strengthen relationships
  • Negotiating detailed contracts
  • Working alongside the wider teams including marketing to submit high–quality tenders
  • Liaising with multiple senior stakeholders to close sales

THE PERSON:

  • Previous experience within a similar Sales / Business Development / Account Management role within Hotels / Hospitality / Events / Conferences / Events Venue / Healthcare is essential
  • Proven track record of achieving targets across new business and account management
  • Confident to sell to clients at all levels
  • Able to self–motivate and work as part of a vibrant sales team
