The Role – Project Manager

Following continued growth this market–leading organisation now seeks to recruit a customer focused Project Manager. The company operates within the healthcare informatics sector and the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Planning, organising and overseeing multiple healthcare data migration projects worldwide
• Leading and delivering a clear plan encompassing the objectives of the project
• Creating and maintaining project documentation, including the definition of project metrics
• Leading customer engagement during scheduled calls
• Working closely with customers to translate project objectives into an effective project plan
• Supporting implementation engineers to keep them on task and on time
• Handling change to preserve project plan commitments

Your Background – Project Manager

To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of project management in the healthcare information technology sector
• Prince II certification or equivalent
• Good interpersonal skills with experience in a customer facing role
• Ability to work well with all people and be a team player
• Flexible, eager to learn, enjoy attention to detail and be a problem solver
• Previous experience of PACS / VNA project management and / or migration would be advantageous
• An understanding of healthcare standards such as DICOM and HL7 would be beneficial
