Corporate Tax Manager working for independent advisory firm based in Altrincham
Your new firm
Your new firm are an established and growing accountancy practice based in Altrincham. Launched in 2012, the firm has a wealth of experience operating as trusted advisers for entrepreneurs, business owners and High-net worth individuals. Offering a full range of services, they support businesses in audit, accounts, bookkeeping, corporate finance, payroll, tax and and strategic planning. Their mantra is very much to act as not just accountants, but business advisers. Due to growth in tax work they are now looking for an additional tax resource to support in a client facing role.
Your new role
In your new role you will be working closely with the founder and managing partner of the firm, acting as a point of contact for tax work with clients. You will be supporting mainly OMBs and entrepreneurs with tax affairs, mainly getting involved in a variety of tax advisory / planning work. Due to the nature of the work you will get to work with an exciting client base including family run firms, fast growth companies, media & digital agencies, more traditional manufacturing companies and entrepreneurs personal tax affairs. With this variety in client base you will get involved in a mixture of work including transactions, start up advice, R&D claims, capital gains, inheritance tax, succession planning, share reorganisations, property transactions, SEI/EIS investments and VAT advice.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you need to be a confident tax professional who is CTA qualified and has a number of years experience managing a similar style tax portfolio. You need to be comfortable in a client facing capacity and have experience in both corporate and personal tax advisory / planning affairs.
