Head of Management Information Systems

Due to a department restructure, Dedicate Recruitment is excited to be working with a partnership community trust of six schools in Essex, seeking an exceptional Head of Management Information Systems (MIS).

The Head of MIS will manage and lead a team of two staff, to provide the academy community with managed access to comprehensive, reliable, relevant and up to–date information and report facilities. The postholder will be responsible for organising all aspects of MIS across the trust in accordance with the latest regulations, procedures and deadlines set by the DfE and OFSTED.

This is a key post providing support to the Examinations Officer with the set up and running of all internal and external exams and to manage the admissions process of student information. You will lead on maintaining the academy databases, providing data to enable managers and teachers to set targets and evaluate student performance.

The successful candidate will bring previous line management experience in data management, with extensive knowledge of MIS, ideally BROMCOM, together with all key data requirements and analysis in secondary education and school census. You will have excellent communication, ICT and presentation skills, both written and oral, and will be a natural motivator and leader.

The Trust is seeking an individual with a can–do approach and positive attitude to change, matched by excellent interpersonal and motivational skills. You will demonstrate a professional work ethic and a commitment to high standards coupled with first class report analysis.

This is a term time only role plus inset days, plus 4 weeks.

Hours of work: 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30 – 4.00pm Friday.

Actual salary on offer is GBP37,185.87 to GBP42,896.58
