JOB TITLE: Commercial Legal Counsel
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: Leamington Spa (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking to recruit a 3+ year PQE Solicitor to join their in-house legal team as Legal Counsel.
The role requires strong negotiating skills, analytical ability and a business-focused approach. You will report into a Senior Legal Counsel but work largely independently, although sometimes with other lawyers. The team comprises five lawyers (including this role).
The workload is highly varied and good communication skills and the ability to provide succinct commercial advice to employees at every level is key. You will negotiate, draft and review a diverse range of commercial agreements on behalf of the business such as standard business terms and conditions, supply agreements and outsourcing agreements and you will seek to minimise risks to the business. You will also supervise external law firms which are acting on behalf of the client and provide legal training to the business.
