Commercial Contracts Lawyer
LAW Absolute are working with a highly regarded local authority based in London, who are seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful candidate will be replacing a retiree from the organisation and will be required to carry a complex caseload from the outset. You will need to possess substantive experience dealing with contracts and procurement matters. You will manage multi-tiered contracts such as service contracts (street cleaning, security, and office/building cleaning contracts) and IT contracts. You will advise, draft, and amend a variety of different contracts on behalf of the organisation. The council is Lexcel accredited and as such will require the successful candidate to maintain a high standard of client care, alongside maintaining high standards of files and records management.
Previous experience working within the public sector would be advantageous. This is a hybrid working role with office attendance required weekly.
Candidates must have a current practicing certificate and be available to start on short notice.
