Managing Director

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join this successful engineering/manufacturing business with a turnover of c 10m. As part of a group of companies the role will report into the Owner, Group Operations Director and Group Head of Finance. The role can be based in any one of three locations, South Buckinghamshire, North–West London or Hampshire.
As MD/General Manager you will take full responsibility of all aspects of the performance of the business. This will include: the day–to–day running of the company; all aspects of sales and marketing, including existing and new routes to market; developing growth strategies and optimising performance; managing and developing key personnel; optimisation of company performance and profitability and assisting in management of the cash position of the business.
As an individual you will already have a strong track record as an MD, preferably within a similar environment. This is a very hands–on role where you will be expected to be involved in all areas from strategic decision making to assisting with the annual stock–take so a strong operational background is essential. As an entrepreneurial leader you will have outstanding inter–personal and communication skills who strives to make a difference.
