Landlord Works Programme Manager
400 per day
North London
Panoramic Associates are currently working with a social housing provider in Central London that are looking for a Landlord Works Programme Manager to lead the Landlord Works team, overseeing a programme of condition, compliance and improvement works across the client's built assets.
There will be a responsibility to develop and deliver a programme of small projects and minor works aligned to the client's asset management plan to ensure that the estate meets legislative and health and safety compliance and delivers an estate that is fit–for–purpose for their services.
The post–holder will be advising the Lead Member, Chief Executive, and other senior officers on all matters relating to the works programme.
Main responsibilities:
- To put in place a strategy for monitoring and managing the condition, suitability and performance of building assets, identifying when capital works will be needed.
- To establish programmes of improvement works, establishing priorities, timelines, resources needs and budget requirements. To ensure these programmes are aligned with and deliver in accordance with the Asset Management Plan and other strategic priorities.
- To put in place appropriate project and programme management disciplines, aligned to RIBA, to ensure that minor works and projects are subject to robust and appropriate approval processes at each stage, and projects are properly managed, delivered and closed down.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Extensive portfolio of achievements in the field of capital project delivery over at least 10 years
- Membership of a relevant professional body (such as RICS, MCIOB, MBIFM)
- Able to demonstrate detail knowledge and professional development in relation to the specification, tendering and management of construction–related contracts
- Deep and detailed of legislative framework and good practice for construction health and safety
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
