• GBP90,000 – GBP110,000 basic salary
• 40% bonus
• GBP740 a month car allowance

A brilliant chemicals manufacturing company is looking for a Director of Strategic Planning to create and implement strategies for the next 3, 5 and 10 years. You will have significant experience in the chemicals industry; that masterful knowledge of the market is a crucial required element, coupled with technical knowledge and a Chemistry Degree or related.

Director of Strategic Planning – Responsibilities

• You will be commercially focused to hone in on and exploit a range of markets / customer types to maximise the company s future
• Develop and lead the corporate strategy & planning process
• Lead the company s R&D function – team of 5
• Lead the programme of partnering with 3rd parties to manufacture and/or innovate on our behalf
• Execute key strategic projects currently running which have not reached full commercialisation

Director of Strategic Planning Requirements

• Proven experience as a strategist / commercial lead developing operational strategies aligned with the company vision
• In–depth knowledge of, and experience in the chemicals distribution and manufacturing sector
• Degree in Chemistry or closely related
• 10+ years experience in chemicals sector
• Master s in Business Administration or related would be beneficial
• To be semi–commutable to the company site just off the M11 you could live in or near London, Harlow, Ilford, Watford, Chelmsford, Colchester, Cambridge, Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Bury St Edmunds, Northampton, Braintree, Halstead, Haverhill, Royston, Stevenage, Hitchin, St Albans, Biggleswade etc.
