The Role:
  • This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an Agricultural Solicitor to join the firm's vibrant office in Newcastle, with hybrid working in place
  • The leading Agricultural and Landed Estates team regularly advise estates, landowners and tenant farms on a broad range of complex matters with particular expertise in environmental issues
  • As such, you will manage a diverse caseload covering the full spectrum of agricultural work, including the acquisition & disposals of tenancies, agri-business restructuring, diversification projects, renewable energy-related matters and general environmental concerns
  • As an experienced solicitor, you will also have the opportunity to supervise the junior members of the team and get involved with business development, playing a pivotal role in the development of the wider department
  • This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda - the firm are succession planning and keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers, providing you with the platform for future partnership


The Ideal Candidate:
  • An experienced Agricultural Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE
  • Strong business development capabilities
