Systems Engineer – Outside IR35 contract

Systems Engineer needed for a globally renowned defense company based on a hybrid basis in Bristol, Our client is looking for Systems Engineers with an in–depth knowledge of using systems analysis, requirements definition and test design.

The position of Systems Engineer is for 6 month contract (OUTSIDE OF IR35) with a competitive hourly rate and hybrid working.

What the role entails Systems Engineer:

Some of the main duties of the Systems Engineer will include:

• System Analysis and Requirement Derivation

• Updates to Software Requirement Specification (SRS) and Hardware Requirements Specification
  (HRS)
• Definition of Success Criteria and production of Test Scenarios for the SRS which, when executed, will provide evidence to support equipment qualification.

• System test, Integration and Qualification

• Execution of tests, recording the results and raising non–conformances, queries, and deficiency reports as required.
• Production of the design certification documentation to support delivery of the products into service
• Review of Technical Publications to ensure that they are consistent with any design change

What experience you need to be the successful Systems Engineer:

• Proven experience in a related Systems Engineering role.
• Modifications and configuration management.
• (Highly desirable) – Aerospace defense or marine sector experience.
