Business Development Manager

Heritage Recruitment are working in partnership with an industry leading, established technology business who are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join their expanding team based in Nottingham.

Working both internally and externally, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling bespoke software services and solutions to both new and existing clients, including large, globally recognised brands, utilising an array of sales channels in order to onboard new clients and build long term relationships.

In addition to a basic salary of c 40k– 48k and a realistic OTE of c 90k once established, our client offers an excellent benefits package including hybrid working with the ability to buy and sell annual leave. The business has exciting expansion plans with lots of room for progression moving forward.

Responsibilities:

• Selling bespoke software into businesses through capitalising on new business opportunities and developing relationships with existing clients.

• Attending meetings with potential and existing clients in order to generate new business, including creating and presenting tailored proposals.

• Ensuring KPIs are achieved and exceeded.

• Utilising various sales channels including telephone and online calls, in–person meetings, networking and digital marketing.

• Ensuring the database is kept up to date with latest sales activity.

Skills/Experience required:

• Experience in a similar role, including both internal and field sales experience.

• Demonstrated track record of selling software/tech products and services in a consultative manner.

• Good relationship building skills.

• An enthusiasm for technology and the ability to translate technical information into commercial value.
