Director Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A medium–to–large sized building consultancy with international presence is now looking for highly proficient Director of Project Management to join their office in Birmingham.

The Director of Project Management's Role

This consultancy is looking for a number two to support with a range of leadership responsibilities, including overseeing team management, business development, assisting with the recruitment process for a growing office, and supporting with major project delivery.

As Director of Project Management, you will play a key part in client relations, with a somewhat even ration of delivering projects and managing the Project Management team. The most predominant build sectors include Residential and Commercial.

Director of Project Management Requirements

• 10 – 15 years of prior experience working as a Project Manager in Construction Consultancies.
• Fully chartered (MRICS preferred, but CIOB or APM may be suitable)
• Strong history of working on Commercial or Residential projects/schemes
• Commercially aware and previous experience of winning new work and repeat business
• Experience working in leadership roles and managing team members
• Deep understanding of project delivery from inception through completion
