SF Executive are currently working with a fast–paced, rapidly growing, services business based in the West Midlands in search of a Commercial Director.

The Role
Reporting to the Managed Director, the Commercial Director will lead the sales and marketing functions and take full ownership of the business revenue and profit across multiple channels i.e. B2C, B2B and Resellers.
You will define, develop, and implement the sales strategy and process to identify and build new revenue channels as well as provide mentorship and development to your commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to build culture into this growing business.
The Candidate
The successful Commercial Director will have:
- Demonstratable success in scaling the revenue/profit of a customer–focused digital business
- An entrepreneurial mindset, being able to take initiative and add value to the business
- Worked within multi–channel businesses i.e. B2B, B2C etc.
- An agile background and be able to influence / drive lean start up environments
- A background of working within a high–performance start–up or scale–up business
- Proven success in team building and leadership of a sales and marketing function
- Experience using consumer insights to understand audiences and build strong value propositions
- Strong numeracy, reporting and analytical skills and owning and achieving relevant KPIs and targets
- Experience of developing a CRM system within a data–led environment, leveraging data insight to drive performance and provide analytical insight to drive decision making
- Experience of driving and implementing sales and marketing strategy
- Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships across all departments of the business
