Head of Building Control

A Local Authority based in Kent is currently recruiting for a Building Control Manager to join their Development control team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, temporary position with the ideal candidate holding a relevant technical/professional qualification or qualified by experience working within a Public Sector environment.

The purpose of the role is to deliver the Building Control function including the examination of plans and providing specialist advice, site inspection and enforcement as appropriate. To ensure the Councils' statutory duty is met in respect of the Building Regulations and Building Act 1984 including dangerous structures under the London Building Act 1939 as amended.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering 600 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
