There are many companies trading internationally in the area, with good airports, a booming life sciences industry and access to major ports. We're very optimistic and excited about the prospect of dropping the KN anchor into that market directly. As part of this exciting expansion, we are looking to appoint a second seasoned Business Development Manager who will be instrumental in developing our presence within the region. As a hungry sales specialist, you will spend most of your time in customer facing activities with a clear focus on hunting for new business in the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) segment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team of local people, experts in their field, and passionate about KN. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a hunter–gatherer, you will prospect, qualify, close and nurture new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME within the region, customer growth and profitability of your portfolio.
  • To demonstrate superior Sea, Air and Road Logistics product and trade knowledge
  • To attend customer events, exhibitions and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our main Sea and Air Logistics products
  • To monitor our competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
  • To align with the Customer Care Team when on–boarding new customers and regularly review the customers' portfolio with the Customer Care Location managers/team
  • To take pricing decisions in alignment with the relevant stakeholders and prepare and submit quotations to the customers
  • To use our ever improving dynamic CRM to help maintain and update customer information
  • To participate in internal and external development measurements in alignment with your line manager

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Proven business to business, face to face sales experience with strong customer and solution orientation within a targeted new business environment
  • Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to convince and convey
  • Ability to build customer "value propositions"
  • Strong capabilities is analysis, entrepreneurial and commercial understanding and behavior as well as cost efficient working style
  • Ambitious to succeed, keen to work in teams, strong willed and target oriented
  • Effective and proactive time management/forward planning
  • Proven ability of establishing/maintaining Internal networks a matrix organisations
  • Self–reliant, diligent, determined as well as resilient and flexible with a creative, enthusiastic, open and friendly approach.
