Fire Systems & Emergency Lighting Systems Engineer

Vibe Recruit are currently on the lookout for a Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting & Small Works Engineer who has a minimum of 4 years site experience installing, maintaining, servicing & commissioning Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting systems.

The ideal candidate will be fault finding on the above systems, familiar with addressable, two wire & conventional systems by (Ctec, Advanced, Menvier, SMS, Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Morley, Apollo & Ziton). You will also be used to working on Industrial, Commercial & Domestic installations having done Initial Verification, Testing and Certification of own work along with customer and other trade interaction relating to jobs. The role is mainly lone working, although you will sometimes be working in a team also.

Qualifications:

• In House / Product training for Fire & Emergency Lighting
• Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Door Access Control (Preferred)
• NVQ level 3 electrical installations (Preferred) Technical Qualification minimum
• ECS Gold card (Beneficial)
• 17th edition (Preferred)
• 18th edition (Preferred)
• 2391 testing and inspecting (Beneficial)
• IPAF 3a & 3b (Preferred)
• Asbestos awareness (Preferred)

The pay is competitive dependant on experience and there is overtime available along with out of hours call out (rota of 1 week in 7) pay. you will be provide with a company van and fuel card, laptop and the relevant kit to perform int he role.
