Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting the role of Operations Director, working with a leading manufacturer based out of Lincoln.
This Operations Director will oversee site operations, deliver budgets, performance improvements and manage customer commitments.
They will be responsible for leading and driving a culture of engagement, support, and safety–first approach with first class standards across all areas.
Duties & responsibilities for this Operations Director will include but are not limited to:
You will lead all aspects of site operations and manufacturing
Work closely with and as part of the SMT, driving production; KPIs; performance and budgets with cost reduction improvements across all areas
Support the SMT in process and system management with forecasting and budgeting, contributing to the strategic objectives outlined for the business
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, with clear objectives outlined and development opportunities available
Develop a succession plan to create high performing teams that is responsive to the ever–increasing demands of this manufacturing site
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
Qualified in Operations, Engineering, Management or equivalent
Experienced in FMCG ideally print or packaging
Demonstrable experience in a Operations Management role preferably gained whilst working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with a team of 100+
Skilled in continuous improvement; safety and managing people effectively
Commercial in your approach with strengths in report production for forecasting and budgeting purposes
