ERP Programme Manager
65,000 per annum DOE

I am currently working with a University looking for a Programme Manager to implement their new Oracle ERP System.
Specifically, we are looking for a candidate with proven implementation experience of implementing an ERP, preferably within Higher Education management; strong business process design experience and understanding; significant business systems analysis experience; and preferably an understanding of cloud–based technology and software as a service.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Planning and designing the next phase of the ERP programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
2. Defining the programme's structure and governance arrangements, creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation using the University project methodology
3. Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme – focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes and corporate, technical and specialist standards
4. Managing the programme's budget on behalf of the programme board, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
5. Facilitating the appointment of individuals to strands and stages of the programme
6. Co–ordinating internal resources and the vendor to ensure delivery of each stage and strand of the ERP programme
The successful candidate;
1. Demonstrable experience of managing a project or programme team in a complex ERP environment
2. Demonstrable experience of managing resources, workloads and changing priorities for self and others
3. Demonstrable experience of managing change
4. Ability to operate in a complex global environment, preferably HE
5. Demonstrable ability to work within an ever–changing environment
6. Proven experience of dealing with and leading in uncertainty and ambiguity
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Excellent Influencing Skills
9. PRINCE II or equivalent trained and practitioner
Higher education experience is not essential but the successful candidate will need to have an understanding of the higher education sector
