The company is a dedicated Independent Letting Agent and have grown offering their clients exceptional experience including lettings, property management, property sourcing and property refurbishments
With demand higher than ever, they are looking to grow even further and faster as a brand by hiring a Part Time Business Development Manager to join their busy team to grow their stock portfolio within the North East locations and help to drive the business forward.
The position is available 3 days a week and can work around school hours if needed.
The Role
This role is fundamental to the growth of the business. The main focus of the role is contacting the existing database to re–establish links with old clients and source new clients in order to generate new business for lettings valuations.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 2–3 years' experience within residential sales or lettings and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success. The company are looking for a strong, ambitious and capable individual who can come in and hit the ground running.
You will be based in a call centre type environment within their hub in Sunderland.
Duties/Functions of the role:
- Conduct outbound calls (between 80 –100 calls a day)
- Researching and pursuing business leads and natural growth
- Analytically researching current clients using various databases
- Generate new opportunities for winning instructions/clients
- Grow and maintain a network of potential clients and properties
- Work to achieve and surpass both activity & financial targets
- Develop a strong understanding of North East property market
Requirements of the role
- A strong track record of winning instructions within the North East Sales/Lettings market
- Have excellent negotiation, influencing and problem–solving skills.
- Confident telephone speaker with outstanding telephone skills
- Ability to achieve and exceed calling targets
- Trustworthy, self–motivated and able to work within a fast–paced target driven environment
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- A confident and professional manner
- Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
- IT literate – social media and marketing skills would be beneficial
