Job description – the role

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for Business Analyst for a 6–month contract based remotely with occasional travel to either London or Edinburgh.

Purpose of the Role:

• Our client is looking to launch a new lending proposition to market next year so looking to extend the team to support on this. This will be working on a new lending proposition, new lending product, working with merchants in setting up the product and short–term borrowing and personal lending products.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for

• Driving and delivering innovative ideas, looking at harnessing digital and technological advances that truly benefit customers.
• Delivering change through working in an Agile manner and understanding of MVPs and measures of success.
• Understanding customer journey mapping by identifying and addressing customer pain points and driving customer satisfaction and the levers that can influence.
• End–to–end governance processes and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder engagement.

What we require from the candidate:

• Knowledge and experience of the retail lending market, the customer and commercial and economic drivers that may influence.
• Identifying opportunities to digitise, improve and manage the customer journey to deliver increased value and an effortless customer experience.
• Expertise in product proposition and process design, change delivery, and customer experience design
• Good knowledge of critical Agile capabilities and ways of working, working in sprints as part of a self–organising team, delivering MVP and prioritising backlogs, etc
• Puts the customer at the heart of what they do and deliver great customer value.
