Pay Rate – 48.79– 56.14 PAYE (Per hour – Paid weekly by an umbrella company)

Hours – 37.5

Location – Birmingham

Identifying and building upon the immediate priorities to support preparation for winter
Identifying where there are current challenges/blocks across the pathway which prevent the delivery of effective care and treatment for mental health patients, setting out the opportunities to address these challenges.
Detailed actions and milestones associated to the delivery of current strategic priorities including:
o Development of a single overarching framework for mental health urgent and emergency care delivery, recognising it as a system
o Development of an Integrated Place of Safety model
o Development of a single integrated bed finding facility for adults, strengthening the ownership of mental health bed finding across the system
o Progressing the delivery of a Single Electronic Patient Record (EPR)
o Development of a single approach to independent bed contracting
Development of a shared and aligned vision for mental health urgent care delivery across BSOL beyond 2023
The Director of Urgent Care Transformation would need to provide:
Evidence of current professional healthcare registration
Masters or equivalent experience of senior professional leadership
Experience of leading and delivering change and improvement
Extensive experience of service planning and integration with performance management arrangements
Robust Programme Management which brings together all the independent strands of urgent care work together across the system into detailed project/delivery plans
Accountability and responsibility for the BSOL mental health urgent care priorities
Facilitation of system working, bringing together stakeholders such as staff, patients, families, carers, partners and experts by experience to identify and drive forward system change through co–production
Data analysis and interpretation
Report writing
Quality Assurance
