Experienced Financial Controller required for rapidly growing SME based in Middlewich
Your new company
You new company are an international business services organisation who operate all across Europe. Due to a recent equation they're now looking to recruit an experience Financial Controller to take ownership of the UK site based in Middlewich.
Your new role
In your new role as Financial Controller you will take the lead on bringing the accounts function internal from the external accountants. You will take ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts along with all internal and external financial reporting. You will prepare the annually and quarterly budgets for the UK site and report these into the European Finance Director overseas. You will manage the AP & AR teams and identify areas to recruit and build the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this leadership role as Financial Controller you will have experience working within a SME in a similar position. You'll posses a real can do attitude and be willing to build a finance function from the ground up. You will business partner with senior stakeholders within the business both in the UK and across Europe but also be willing to carry out the more junior transactional duties when necessary.
