Executive Assistant / PA to CEO
Our client is seeking an experienced PA / Executive Assistant to support the Operations Manager and the company CEO of a fast paced, forward thinking business with a fantastic reputation, based on the outskirts of Bury. (Office based role)
Providing efficient and responsive administrative support to the Chief Executive, the successful applicant will be tenacious and dynamic, with proven and extensive PA experience The role will also support additional company directors and assist with general administration work. Ideally 1–1 experience working with CEO/Director level is also desired.

Key responsibilities of a PA / Executive Assistant:
- Organising and facilitating meetings, ensuring the Chief Exec is well prepared, and providing assistance during presentations
- Taking notes and dictation at meeting with Chief Exec and ensuring all actions are logged and followed through
- Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
- Manage e–mails and other correspondence where required ensuring prompt responses and appropriate actions are taken
- Making travel arrangements and hotel bookings
- Organising and maintaining office systems, supplies etc
- Preparing corporate documents
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Organising schedules, diaries and appointments
- Organising events/visiting venues for potential events
- Providing support to the Senior Managers as and when needed
- Dealing with incoming email and post, often corresponding on behalf of the Chief Exec
- Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
- Assisting with personal errands
- Undertaking any duties as requested by the Chief Exec
Knowledge/skills/experience:
Experience in an EA/PA role is essential
Ideally 1–1 experience working with CEO/Director level is also essential
Must be highly organised, methodical and have excellent attention to detail
Discrete and professional with the ability to work in complete confidence
Extremely proactive and able to work on own initiative
Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with a wide variety of contacts
A mature approach with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to work under pressure, with competing demands, often to tight deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Proficient typing skills
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferred but not essential
Smart appearance
