An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Employment Associate to join our clients top tier Legal 500 firm in the Thames Valley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on pivotal business development responsibilities whilst simultaneously taking on a varied caseload.

The successful candidate will have at leat 4+ years PQE and will have experience in: carrying out legal research and due dilligence, developing client relationships, developing specialist knowledge and legal skills, communicating effectively, demonstrating strong analytical and research skills and demonstrating continuous development and diversity in thinking.

Main duties will include but may not be limited to:
  • Managing a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.
  • Acting for a wide range of clients, including retail clients, NHS, government or third sector organisations.
  • Participating in business development activities, taking an active role in seminars, webinars and networking events as well as the drafting of guidance and articles.
  • Communicating effectively with team members based across other offices.
  • Setting a demonstrative example to more junior members of the team, showing initiative and embracing team working opportunities.

This role would require the successful candidate to spend 3-4 days working in office, split between both Reading and Oxford. The remaining days may be spent working remotely from home.
