The Student Ambassador Network Programme Manager is an exciting role with strategic responsibility for leader of the programme. You will oversee the ongoing development of our established and successful Student Ambassador Network at an organisational level, and you will lead on the expansion of student enrolment in new universities. You will play a key role in mentoring, coaching and co–designing community activism projects led by students, ensuring the activism projects support students' employability skills and are aligned to local authority modern slavery priorities where appropriate. Key Responsibilites: Develop and lead on promoting the Student Ambassador Network programme to UK universities with a continuing focus on BAME groups. Currently 23% students are Asian/Asian British, 9% Black British, and Black African and Caribbean, 6% Mixed or Multiple Ethnic groups and 6% Other Ethnic Group. Ensuring that It's a Penalty's values of embedding principles of DEI, youth participation, and youth leadership are embedded in our programme delivery model. Deliver lectures and seminars on modern slavery that align to students' courses. E.g youth and community workers, hospitality and events, law, policing, social work etc. On–board students to the programme including safeguarding, volunteer codes of conduct and IAPs policies are communicated, understood and implemented. Regularly meet and mentor students throughout the cadence of the programme Maintain and regularly update the Mighty Networks platform which hosts the training modules and network. Develop and design appropriate resources for promotion of the programme and the students' activism projects. Oversee and approve the Social Media output for the Student Ambassador Network Ensuring that our programme development and community activism projects are based on excellent understanding of our impact, data and evaluations. Ensuring excellent service delivery and parity of quality across our programme. Ensure that systems and processes at IAP support the delivery of excellent services and the programme. To ensure that funding applications reflect the programme and delivery strategy. To ensure that new funded initiatives are successfully implemented. Manage and produce budgets, working with the finance function. Manage time in optimal way with flexibility on when you plan your working hours per week/month but providing Sarah de Carvalho with rough times on when you will be working for IAP –dealing with emails, contacts, networks in a timely manner and raising concerns to CEO promptly Ensure compliance with UK law in respect of data privacy and confidentiality of all it's a Penalty information and not sharing any personal details of self or our contacts and clients without consent Person specification: • A partnership builder, seeking to work in teams, alliances, and collaborations where impact can be greater than the sum of the parts. • A clear–sighted strategist who is agile and pragmatic, identifying and maximising the opportunities for It's a Penalty's Student Ambassador Network development and delivery. • An engaging and effective communicator able to create the messages, positioning, and relationships that lead to growth of networks, profile, income, and impact.
