The main responsibilities for this Finance Manager role are as follows:
- Manage a team of 3 qualified Accountants and oversee the production of their work
- Review and challenge Management Accounts produced by third-party Administrators
- Fully responsible for the financial statements, reporting and control of all listed and institutional funds
- Responsible for all performance reporting and analysis
- Produce high-level MI and be able to present headlines to the Board
- Play a key part in the Transaction lifecycle to include fund creation, on boarding and closing
- Calculation of monthly/quarterly NAV’s
- Ensuring accurate delivery of financial information to investors in line with the Funds’ reporting timelines
- Close management of the associated outsourcers, administrators and depositories and all other third parties
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
The successful applicant for this Finance Manager position will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Good technical knowledge of IFRS and investment Entity accounting
- Good knowledge of fund accounting and fund structures
- Have experience of working with renewable energy investment assets
- Have good understanding with of CIR and other basis tax rule
- Be highly organised to be able to deliver accurate information to tight reporting deadlines
- Have excellent communication skills and proven ability to work well within different teams and manage a range of different stakeholders
- Self- motivated, aspirational, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
