Description
- Management of Group VAT returns for a variety of jurisdictions as prepared by other members of the Tax team on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Development and delivery of VAT awareness communications and more in-depth specific training
- Support and provide guidance to UK Tax team colleagues and overseas teams
- Manage the Group's VAT compliance risks.
- Further develop exception reporting capability aimed at minimising avoidable errors on indirect tax returns.
- Establish a programme to review and ensure accuracy of VAT relevant Master Data in SAP.
- Act as primary contact for external auditors' queries and manage relationships with external advisers.
- Proactively manage all HMRC related routine queries and more in-depth audit work.
- You will support wider projects and initiatives as required by the Head of VAT including but not limited to M&A projects.
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the Tax team and support them in their development and understanding of VAT.
