Robertson Bell are once again working with this community–focused charity in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in London, this role offers remote working opportunities for two or three times per week and will provide leadership to a small team of business partners whilst delivering objectives in line with the new strategic plan. The key duties of this Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows: Lead the annual budget setting process, collating all relevant information across the charity to give a holistic overview. Take the lead in the annual forecasting processes and aid the Financial Controller in the development of a more robust three–yearly forecasting procedure. Manage a team of two Junior Business Partners, helping them to grow in their careers and ensuring their work aligns with the strategic objectives. Provide critical support in the development of bids and tenders for new funding, acting as the key financial expert across the charity. Challenge variances and follow up with budget holders as required to ensure nothing is missed in the monthly accounting cycle. Business partner with the Fundraising Team in the establishment of new income streams. Work closely with HR to ensure payroll is processed accurately and in a timely fashion. This newly revamped role comes at an exciting time for the charity as they have recently been through an exciting period of change an embarked on a new strategic plan, which this role will be key in driving across the organisation. It will suit someone with previous business partnering experience in the charity sector who is looking to take a step up and play a vital part in the establishment of more fit–for–purpose reporting processes. The successful candidate will have: Part–qualified as a finance professional. Demonstrable experience of working in a senior business partnering capacity. A background working in the charity sector. Experience managing or supervising a small team.
