Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a PE backed organsiation based in North Yorkshire who are looking for a Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilities will include:
This opportunity is ideally suited to a highly motivated individual with strong technical ability and commercial awareness. You will be a qualified accountant, preferably with a practice background and a proven track record in a similar role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of management accounts for various stakeholders across the business plus, supporting analysis and KPIs
- Co-ordinating the preparation of management accounts by subsidiary finance staff and consolidation into the wider Group reporting
- Preparation of board reports and MI for PE owners
- Long-term contract accounting and regular liaison with key operational staff
- Manage cash flow by control of receipts and payments
- Manage the preparation and delivery of company and group statutory accounts and liaison with auditors
- Manage the budget and financial modelling for the company and group
- Preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements and individual stats
- Preparation of group budget and forecasting models
- Supervise and manage finance department staff - motivate and lead finance team members by delegation and feedback
- Rolling out ERP software across new acquisitions
- Establish and implement robust and reliable internal control systems
- Leading finance integration of acquisitions and centralising finance function
