I am currently recruiting for an Interim Property Manager for a Charity based in Bedfordshire. Inside of IR35. 3 month contract. General estates management and property management. 2 days a week at home. Part time considered. Client Details Charity in the Bedfordshire area. Description The key responsibilities of the Interim Property Manager would include: Deal with day to day property management, including general tenant enquiries, property maintenance, site visits, site audits etc. Deal with any matters as they arise on operational properties. Consider initiatives to improve the asset's value and the environmental sustainability of the properties. Instruct managing and letting agents, lawyers, insurers and contractors and other associated consultants. Manage negotiations on new lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, assignments, licence to alter, surrenders, dilapidations and other professional matters as required through to a satisfactory conclusion. Involvement and management of development projects and the management of property Preparation of budgets and Prepare reports and estate analysis for presentation to the Finance and Property Committee and Collate property and tenancy information for projects, meetings and to comply with banking requirements. Provide advice and support to colleagues on property matters as and when required including where necessary dealing with enquiries about the Trust's 'green estate'.Profile Skills and experience for the Interim Property Manager would include: Previous experience in basic property management, refurbishment and asset management (lease regears, increasing income etc) is desirable. Good communication & negotiation Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. A high degree of customer service commitment and experience is required for this busy and demanding role, together with the ability to work as part of a small team to ensure that The Trusts expectation of maintenance of the commercial portfolio is met.
