Commercial Project Manager – Hiring ASAP
Location: Remote working with 1–2 days per week in London officeDuration: 7 months initially with a view to extendDay Rate: GBP522 per dayInside IR35
Summary
Ensure programmes/projects within the Media Transformation portfolio are delivered on–time, within scope and within budget
Responsibilities
- Develop key milestone / activity plans to deliver objectives and scope
- Establish reporting arrangements to monitor and track progress
- Coordinate internal resources / stakeholders and 3rd parties / vendors
- Identify and manage dependencies within and across multiple work stream
- Manage changes to programmes/projects including scope, schedule and costs
- Anticipate and resolve complex problems or key risks / issues in a timely and effective manner
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Key Skills
- Proven track record in building and managing Programme Office processes – 6 years+ experience
- Strategic perspective – able to synthesise information to develop insight and add value
- Collaborative working style – able to work consultatively with project teams at programme start up and to ensure common standards and sharing best practice
- Excellent client–facing skills – able to work with mid–senior stakeholders
- Consistent follow through – works with projects to actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies – not just track them
- Detail oriented – comfortable with developing highly robust information that can withstand close scrutiny from executive management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and persuade at all levels
- Must be proficient at using MS Office and other desktop applications to create and maintain exceptionally high–quality programme office documents, tools, and reports
- In–depth knowledge of PMO tools and processes required to support a large business transformation programme
- Professional Programme and / or Project Management qualifications
